Ordering Wedding Stationery
Most items can be ordered via the Funky Fairies online shop
(see categories to the left).
However we do like to offer a personalised service for each client.
We feel that Wedding Stationery is a big deal. It's the first glimpse of your wedding that your friends and family will see.
It needs to be right.
Each order is completely handmade. This gives you, the client, full flexibility when it comes to the design. You can choose your colours, font types, wording on the front and inside of the invitations. If you want to add some bling to the design, then you can. If you want to tone down the design to either suit your more contemporary feel or maybe to keep within your budget, then we are happy to do that for you aswell.
We are happy to discuss your order with you via email or telephone, where we will be able to discuss with you your options, for example, stationery design, colour scheme, personalised wording and any extras to make sure the look is just right for you.
The next step is to order some samples.
We understand that it is important for you to see a sample of your chosen design, especially if you have decided to go for a different colour or design as to what you seen.
We offer each person 2 free invitation samples. When you decide which sample(s) you would like, please have a think about your colour scheme and the wording you like to go inside as well.

Please add your name, wedding date and address to send the samples too along with your chosen designs and colours.

When to Order
Stationery bookings can be made at any time. We generally take Stationery bookings 12 to 18 months prior to your Wedding Date.
However we are always happy to help those out that require stationery made at short notice.
We do offer a booking system, asking for a £20 deposit if you would like to book a slot in our diary for when you would like your stationery/wedding goodies to be made.
We will then make your stationery proof to send to you, keep all your details on file and contact you nearer to the date when we are due to start your order.
** Please note the £20 deposit is part of your payment and not an additional payment **
If you have a particular idea in mind for your wedding stationery, we would be more than happy to discuss your ideas with you.
It may be that you have seen one of our designs, but would like to add your own twist to create a whole new look just for you.
This is no problem.
We will talk over your ideas with you and work on a sample(S) until the look is just what you want.
Our bespoke charges vary depending on if we are creating something completely unique for you or if we are adapting our own designs. It's also taken into consideration if we are able to use our regular materials or if we need to source materials solely for your design.
The fee starts at £25 for this service. This includes making your final proof and also includes vat.
The bespoke free is non discountable.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should you send out your Invitations?
We would safely like to recommend that you send out your invitations 8-16 weeks before your Wedding Day which gives your guests enough time to rsvp.
How long will they take to be made?
Your Wedding Stationery will be ready for delivery 4-6 weeks from us confirming your final order and you returning your signed proofs to us. This does depend on our current workload. Please don't despair if you need yours sooner. Contact us and we'll see what we can do.
When to pay?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering (which is non refundable) and the remainder to be paid before we send out your order. . Save the Date orders, our online shop orders & orders under £100 need to be paid when placing the order. We accept most major Credit/Debit Cards, Cheque and paypal.
Any orders sent out by post will be dispatched using the guaranteed delivery service and will require a signature on receipt. Larger orders will be sent using Fedex courier service & also require a signature on delivery. Local orders can be collected upon request.
* You will receive a full set of proofs once we have received your deposit. If you are not happy with these you will have your deposit refunded to you in full. Please allow for the fact that everything is handmade, so items and colours may vary slightly.
* We don't hold a 'No minimum order policy' but please make sure you allow for mistakes when writing them out, extra guests and also keepsakes.
* We don’t offer extra discounts for those who place larger orders. We do try to keep our prices as low as possible and feel we are very competitive with other Wedding Stationery companies.
